This is the reschedule of the March 21 Spring event that was cancelled thanks to the 4th Nor'easter to hit us in March. Nevertheless, our sprits continue to stay high and we are determined to deliver the promised topics on Jira this year.
This event is focussed exclusively on JIRA related topics so come join us and Jam with JIRA
Boris, a former Atlassian support engineer and current Atlassian Partner will cover more than 20 different tips and tricks for Jira admins. This will range from in app suggestions to external resources you can leverage. Jira is continually changing and even if you are a seasoned administrator, you may learn a new trick or two!
A quick break between talks to hear you share your Jira war stories on successes, failures, or yet-to-be solved thorny problem with your fellow AUG members.
Organizations often struggle with implementing configuration changes to their JIRA instances and propagating the changes from development to production. They lack proper change control and governance standards and by default have to resort to manual updates of the new configuration in production; making the entire process ad-hoc and error prone. Nelson will offer steps in creating a sensible change control and governance process. The presentation will also cover how to propagate changes in a controlled manner via version control and automation. Learn some important tips before you plan that next Jira upgrade!
As always, outside of these topics and talks, we'll have food, drinks and plenty of networking opportunities; and maybe even a prize or two.
