Talks this month:
K15t, Nils Bier, Head of Customer Success: How Atlassian Does Document Management!
Product documentation and technical content management are challenges nearly all organizations face. And as products and services change and grow, old-school models for creating and publishing supporting content can struggle to scale. Atlassian's docs teams keep pace by authoring in Confluence and using Scroll Add-ons to manage and publish their content. Learn how they do it from beginning to end, and see how the tools you're already using can be extended to give your docs process the speed and agility it deserves.
Refined wiki, Genevieve Blanch, Product Marketing: Four ways to build a better user experience in Confluence and JIRA Service Desk
As a daily interaction point with customers, it is important that an IT Support Service sends the right message to the customer about a company and a company brand. We provide four practical ways Refined Theme can improve the user experience for both Confluence and JIRA Service Desk so that the user has an experience reflective of the high quality support on offer. We cover making the tools appealing, finding answers fast, extending the self service and providing a personal IT service.
Comalatech, David Bonilla, CEO: Becoming a JIRA Gymnast; how a product owner can balance demands from different teams
30% of staff have no clear priorities, and 64% of features are never or rarely used. These two factors combined mean that the effectiveness of the average company is barely 25%. In this talk you will learn how Comalatech, a 100% remote company, deals with Coordination, Communication and Prioritisation.
As usual we'll provide food, beer, SWAG and great conversation! Hope you can make it!
Genevieve has been heading up marketing at RefinedWiki for over 2 years now.
Hailing from Australia, Genevieve packed up her bags three years ago to move to Sweden.
In that time she switched from work in digital marketing agencies to go in-house with RefinedWiki and join the Atlassian ecosystem.
As the Marketing Manager she has spearheaded campaigns for two new cloud apps and revamped communication around the RefinedWiki brand and top selling apps.
She believes it is of utmost importance that the Marketing team know the products equally (or better than) the tech team.
As such has invested heavily in understanding RefinedWiki apps and now assists in writing the technical documentation and training customers and partners at various events.
